GridNest Web Solutions - Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Understanding our payment terms, cancellation process, and refund conditions for website development services.

Effective Date: 18 July 2026

At GridNest Web Solutions, we are committed to providing high-quality website development services with transparency and professionalism. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations and refunds may be requested.

By purchasing our services, you agree to this policy.

1. Project Booking

  • A project is considered officially booked only after the required 50% advance payment has been received.
  • Work on the project will begin only after confirmation of the advance payment.

2. Payment Structure

Our standard payment terms are:

  • 50% Advance Payment before development begins.
  • 50% Final Payment before the website is delivered or made live.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this payment structure applies to all website development projects.

3. Cancellation Before Project Starts

If a client requests cancellation before development work has started, the refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If no design, planning, consultation, or development work has been carried out, the advance payment may be refunded after deducting any applicable administrative or transaction charges.

4. Cancellation After Project Starts

Once the project has entered the planning, design, or development phase, the advance payment is generally non-refundable, as time, resources, and project planning have already been invested.

However, exceptional situations may be reviewed individually at the sole discretion of GridNest Web Solutions.

Note: Once the project has entered the planning, design, or development phase, the advance payment is generally non-refundable.

5. Case-by-Case Refund Review

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Refund requests may be considered in genuine circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Serious personal situations
  • Incorrect payment made by mistake
  • Other exceptional cases

Each request will be reviewed individually, and the final decision will be made by GridNest Web Solutions.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:

  • Development work has already started.
  • Website design has been approved by the client.
  • Source code has been developed.
  • Project delay is caused by the client's failure to provide content or approvals.
  • The client changes business plans after development has started.
  • The client requests cancellation without a valid reason after work has commenced.

7. Client Delay

If the client does not provide the required content, images, approvals, or other necessary information for an extended period, the project timeline may be paused or extended.

Such delays do not qualify for a refund.

8. Third-Party Services

Payments made to third-party providers are not refundable by GridNest. Examples include:

  • Domain Registration
  • Hosting Services
  • Premium Themes
  • Premium Plugins
  • Stock Images
  • Third-Party Licenses
  • Google Workspace
  • Business Email Services

These services are governed by the refund policies of their respective providers.

9. Project Completion

Once the website has been completed, approved, delivered, or made live, no refund requests will be accepted.

The client is responsible for reviewing the website before final approval and deployment.

10. Support Period

The free support period included with each package remains valid even if no support requests are made during that time.

Unused support time cannot be converted into cash, credits, or refunds.

11. Force Majeure

GridNest Web Solutions shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Internet outages
  • Government restrictions
  • Cyber attacks
  • Power failures
  • Third-party service outages
  • Hosting provider issues

Such situations shall not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

12. Chargebacks

Clients are requested to contact GridNest Web Solutions before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks after project commencement may result in immediate suspension of work and legal review where applicable.

13. Changes to This Policy
